We’re looking for applicants with strong experience in e-commerce operational environments to manage Microsoft Store production launches. The successful candidate will leverage his/her experience to optimize product configuration processes, meet publication schedules set with business stakeholders, create/analyze incident reporting to continuously improve operational and live-site quality and ensure the smooth management of vendor teams responsible for website production activities. This role will help Site Operations achieve its vision of delighting customers by producing flawless online experiences across global markets.

Responsibilities

  • Program management of major global product launches and strategic initiatives across Microsoft Digital Stores with a focus on quality, agility, and efficiency
  • Across Microsoft Stores and Product Marketing teams, lead the definition and execution of risk management timeliness, and manage execution to identify and mitigate risks along the way
  • Partnering with business stakeholders on requirements, comps and content to create specifications for a team of production vendors while adhering to Microsoft quality and throughput requirements
  • Coordinate with regional teams on scope and timing of workback schedules and launch details
  • Innovate across processes, tools, and vendor relationships to optimize for quality, agility, and efficiency

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years' experience in the project/program management of e-commerce web production teams
  • At least 5+ years' ability to organize team processes and workflow to guarantee delivery of stakeholder requirements
  • At least 5+ years' of prioritizing and delivering projects in an ambiguous and changing environment
  • At least 5+ years' success in managing large scale cross-functional launches with a high degree of executive maturity, impact and influence

Additional Qualifications:

  • Understanding of industry-standard or purpose-built content management and e-commerce environments across global production centers
  • Ability to use data and insights to create actionable process improvements
  • Must be self-started, organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to partner with others to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems
  • A BA/BS degree in a technical field or related discipline is preferred
