The Enterprise Monitoring and Automation team's goal is to provide the tools and strategy to drive holistic end-to-end enterprise technology monitoring across a combination of people, process, and tools. Define and implement a comprehensive standardized set of ‘best-of-breed’ monitoring tools for use across the enterprise. Democratize the monitoring data and federate dashboard configuration and events management. Develop a modern automation platform using artificial intelligence and machine learning to facilitate automated issue resolution and faster triage. The Role We are seeking a Full-stack Development Lead (Monitoring/Automation). We are engineering a full-stack monitoring and automation platform utilizing open source software (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Spring, Cloudprober), commercial software (AppDynamics, Moogsoft, Ipsoft, Anodot) and home-grown software. We are a distributed team with wide range of development and system skills that seek to produce robust, yet simple solutions to problems. We are hiring people that are self-starters who can work independently with minimal direction. You will be doing hands-on development & engineering to advance TSG's Automation initiative. Work will involve exposure to many different teams and organization's across Technology and will directly contribute to core Technology goals of increased resiliency & efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Hands of development & engineering in building automation portal. Hands of development & engineering in automations using ansible, python, IPSoft 1desk. Solve complex technical problems & challenges with the Automation Platform Contribute to architectural decisions and overall Automation strategy Provide leadership to junior team members to increase the talent level of the organization. Own overall program goals & delivery Manages multiple application development projects for one or several business segments, including all phases of the systems development and implementation process. Provides analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for the client area application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, hardware, technology, tools, etc.. Works collaboratively with business partners on technology solutions that have a significant revenue or cost impact, oversees the development and implementation of multiple application systems and identifies resource requirements to ensure best practice development techniques. Oversees the development and implementation of multiple application systems.
