Data Loss Prevention Operations Manager

The Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Operations Manager will be responsible for assisting with all Data Loss Prevention operations tasks required as part of the Bank’s DLP team.

Provides support to management, including strategy, hiring, and keeps senior leadership updated on team performance. DLP Operations Manager will oversee teams and/or work efforts on a global scale. Ensure all tasks performed adhere to the firm’s DLP Operations run books, procedures and policies for the triage and handling of egress events for potentially sensitive information. 

Job Requirements:

• Exhibit decision-making, communication and leadership skills

• Demonstrate solid understanding of data loss prevention system architecture, policy management and operational work.

• Understanding of and proficiency in planning and managing multiple tasks

• Worked on potential data loss alert triage with Symantec DLP Product suite or similar Industry standard solution 

• Knowledge in incident investigation, root cause analysis and escalation. 

• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving abilities, with a desire to learn new things and provide feedback in challenging situations.

• Excellent interpersonal/communication and writing skills and experienced in writing technical documentation.

• Experience working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems

• Performing computer or cyber forensics and investigations 

• Security+, ITIL, ISO 20/27k, CFE, and related certifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required

• 10+ years of experience in information security or related technology experience

• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
