Sr. Group Manager, Quality Assurance, Testing/Automation Architect/Engineer (Req# 2000995)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred 12+ years of experience in a systems quality environment required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, 3 years as an automation lead or architect
• Ability to formulate automation approach, develop roadmap and create/maintain core framework components
• Proven domain and technical thought leadership within the automation space
• Ability to collaborate with various SMEs to formulate an automate test strategy and drive automation coverage improvements
• Experience in defining governance framework, review standards, and environment-based testing plan integrated with CI/CD
• Experience in testing/automating at all layers: unit, component, DB, API, UI, etc.
• Strong expertise in Java, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit Cucumber, Maven, Gradle, BitBucket, GitLab, JIRA, Confluence, RestAssured, Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming – Java
• Excellent understanding of SCM processes
• Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, Reporting standards and frameworks, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, iterative methodologies and Behavior Driven Development techniques
• Strong written/oral communication skills; ability to articulate thoughts/opinions on tools/processes clearly to team members, peers and executives
• Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural engineering team
• Ability to guide, mentor and train individuals / teams – should be open to conducting training as a part of the overall role
• Solid understanding of financial services industry
• Experience with Ruby is a plus
• BI experience is a plus
