The hardware development position has opportunities to focus on System/Board Design and FPGA RTL IP Design (experience in both preferred but not required). On board design: digital and analog circuit design, schematic capture, detailed analysis, and PCB layout support. FPGA RTL IP design: development, deployment, and debug of custom infrastructure IP (Verilog experience preferred). A working software knowledge of C and scripting (python and/or TCL) is a plus. These platforms involve custom hardware, soft IP components, and software working in concert to deliver a high performance advanced ASIC validation at system level through prototyping. Collaboration with other teams is required throughout the process. Job Qualifications: Minimum education and work experience requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s in EE, CPE, or CS 5+ Years’ Experience Core Skills: DDR4/5, PCIe Gen3/4/5, Transceivers Power Supply Design Board level design including constraints management, SI/PI simulation and working closely with PCB Designers Experience interfacing with Mechanical Engineering a plus Knowledge of HDL (Verilog preferred) C/C++ Programming Embedded systems experience Scripting (Python and/or TCL) RTL Simulations using Mentor QuestaSim The latest FPGA tool suites: Xilinx Vivado and Intel PSG Quartus Prime Xilinx UltraScale+ and UltraScale devices, Intel PSG Stratix 10 devices Experience working in the Linux environment is preferred #LI-MGRP #LI-KM1 Organization: Digital Industries Company: Siemens Industry Software Inc.
