Sr. Human Resources Representative – Medical Device Manufacturing

Overview
- Unique opportunity to partner with plant leadership and workforce in key areas such as Employee Relations, various key organizational initiatives, Talent Acquisition, and to develop/implement HR plans/strategies to support the achievement of business objectives/desired organizational culture for the Cleveland, MS manufacturing plant.
- This plant is one of the largest employers in Cleveland-Bolivar County.
- The plant produces 9 key product lines and Baxter is adding substantial new capacity for one of our product lines
- 24x7 operations
Critical Responsibilities
- Support HR team in implementing function HR plans and programs (performance management, ACR, OI)
- Proactively communicate with employees and managers regarding HR policies and practices and key HR programs. Responsible for coordination of LOA policy and process and New Employee Orientation on an as needed basis.
- Works independently to resolve straightforward ER issues. As well as helps resolve moderately complex ER issues.
- Participates in local talent planning which includes implementation of function-wide training and development plans and talent management support including support of leadership assessment process.
- Data management responsibilities to include processing workflow changes in PS, audits of data, earnings uploads and data correction workflows.
- Maintain measurement systems and analyze data to determine the impact of HR programs.
- Makes recommendations to management based upon analysis.
Key Qualifications
- Disciplined action and execution, ability to drive operational excellence, promote teamwork, communicate effectively.
- Ability to build strong relationships with strong technology application and analytical skills.
- Desire/willingness to engage employees, particularly in a manufacturing environment
- Flexible in scheduling for 24x7 operations
- Strong ER experience, plus problem-solving, interviewing, and presentation skills
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of human resource professional experience working with executives in a large / Fortune 500 Company a plus
- Prior experience managing internal communication processes, and planning meetings, training and employee events a plus.
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred/not required
