We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team. This role will be based at our Beachwood, OH location. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for business analysis planning (estimation of BA work and meeting estimates); requirements elicitation, analysis, validation and overall requirements management. The role includes the creation of testing scenarios and test scripts; and guiding customers through end user acceptance testing. The Business Analyst has expertise in business analysis tools and techniques and extensive experience in enterprise-wide process and technology transformations and implementation. The ideal candidate has experience with master data management programs, data hubs, or ERP implementations. The candidate will provide thought-leadership in driving project objectives forward. The Business Analyst is responsible for business analysis planning and monitoring; requirements elicitation; requirements management and communication; enterprise analysis; requirements analysis and solution assessment and validation on large projects in alignment with the Eaton PROLaunch project management process standards. In this role you will be responsible for: Business Analysis Planning: Assist in planning the business analysis approach, deliverables, and planning estimates for medium to large projects of increasing complexity. Requirements Elicitation and Management: Leads requirements gathering activities (brainstorming, focus groups, interviews, observation, prototyping, and workshops), and document the results requirements for medium to large projects of increasing complexity. Requirements Analysis: Analyze, prioritize and organize requirements to ensure efforts focus on the most critical needs, model requirements to demonstrate process and or solution function, and validate that the requirements support the delivery of value. Requirements Management & Communication: Verify that the documented requirements meet the business objectives and solution design; and ensure requirements are communicated and presented in a format that are understandable to stakeholders, including solutions designers and developers. Solution Assessment (example: RFP): Review and evaluate IT solution designs to ensure the proposed solution meets the business requirements. Validation: Drive the approach and development of use cases and test scenarios/scripts with the customer to ensure user acceptance testing is complete and validate that project requirements have been achieved. Testing: Owns the testing strategy and ensures that proper communication around the testing expectations have been clearly communicated to all participants. Enterprise Analysis: Evaluate the business need, problem or opportunity to justify the investment necessary to deliver the solution, assess the capability of the enterprise to leverage in developing a solution, and determine the most feasible solution. Qualifications Basic (Minimum) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required Minimum of 7 years of information technology experience is required Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship No relocation assistance is provided for this role. Only candidates living within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to understand business needs and identify solutions to solve their issues Listen for understanding. Ability to build effective relationships Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. This position will often work with other business analysts, project managers and business teams on a regular basis. Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills. Leads facilitation sessions, may require some coaching on how to lead and has the ability to influence others, and effectively interface and work with a wide variety of people.
