Position Description:
Lenovo DCG (Datacenter Group) is addressing the $100Billion+ worldwide market
of enterprise products including Server, networking, storage and enterprise
solutions. DCG product marketing group is the owner of DCG business strategy.
The product marketing group is responsible for product portfolio planning,
product definition, product go-to-market plan, and product launch activities.

Job Description:
The Server product manager will report to Director of DCG Product marketing
(Options) with responsibilities including but not limited to:
• Own product planning and definition including market analysis, product
positioning, value proposition, definition of features and product launch plan
• Own & Drive end to end product management execution from concept phase to
plan, development, launch, sustaining and EOL;
• Represent product marketing org in product program management teams (located
in global locations) to achieve time, cost, product feature & innovation
objectives;
• Provide product communications to worldwide geographies’ teams;
• Create product disclosure & competitive analysis report to support
successful WW launch;
• Owns product lifecycle management (sustaining, transition, etc.) thru
product program management team;

Position Requirements:
• Education credentials should include an EE or equivalent technical
undergraduate degree.  A graduate level degree (MS or MBA) is preferred;
•10 years’ working experience in IT industry, including more than 5 years’
experience of x86 server product management；
• Proven track record on creating enterprise products for mature & emerging
market requirements at a global technology company;
• Deep knowledge of x86 Server and Server applications;
• Work well in team environment with peers in product program management teams
in DCG and regional product marketing teams;
• Think big, business sense, logical thinking, get to the points;
• Excellent written & presentation skills in both Mandarin and English;
• Ability to influent top management for right product investment decision, be
active, work well under pressure;
