This Sr. Manager, Finance is a key member of a BU's Finance Leadership team and will lead the BU level core financial processes and BU level initiatives in driving forward the growth and profitability of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop robust and scalable short and long term financial models for the BU, ensuring alignment across functions
- Drive and manage the monthly close and forecast process
- Drive the annual AOP (budget) and STRAP processes (calendar, modeling, communication, consolidation)
- Responsible for all BU level reporting commitments, including, but not limited to, financial reviews, flash reports, outlooks, QBR, ad hoc reports.
- Identify, monitor, and articulate key operating metrics, business risks, and opportunities associated with the plan and outlooks to the leadership team
- Liaise with Division FPA&A, Group FP&A, Corporate FP&A and Systems teams to drive reporting integrity and accuracy.
- Support BU level initiatives, special projects, requests and ad-hoc financial analysis as required
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related experience with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet. CMA/CFA is a plus.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a finance role with hands-on experience in providing financial analysis to drive key business decisions within the context of a matrix organization and/or corporate environment
- Systems experience, including, but not limited to: EDW, Hyperion Planning, CMR
- Strong financial modeling, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to developing team members
- Ability to establish credibility and indirectly influence others, building effective partnerships throughout the organization (e.g., internal customers, FP&A, senior leadership)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interpret and summarize financial analysis results in a clear, concise, accurate manner
- Desire to formulate and drive process improvements, with confidence to challenge the status quo
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
- Display maturity in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive financial information
- Foresight to anticipate implications of decisions (i.e., ability to proactively address problems)
- Technical ability to effectively navigate interplay between financial systems
