We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Business Development to join our global APOS
team and facilitate the development of core processes and tools to grow the
business. The programs led by the candidate will activate the APOS strategy
through data driven insights to accelerate and/or optimize the business –
sales and operations. As a result, our ideal candidate will be able to
balance long term views with short term achievements, build business
performance scorecards, interpret the creation of processes to ensure ability
to scale globally, and manage multiple workstreams across various
organizations.
The Business Development Manager manages key APOS business planning and
analysis programs. Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of
projects on time, within budget, and within scope. The ideal candidate will
oversee all scorecard, planning, and business analytics to track, report, and
drive key initiatives. The Business Development Manager will set deadlines,
assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects as
well as prepare reports for stakeholders regarding status of project.
The successful candidate will work directly with internal and external
stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and
budget. The individual will coordinate with other departments to ensure all
aspects of each project are compatible.
Responsibilities:
• Annual planning & quarterly forecasting across all geographies
o Revenue and margin planning
o Resource modeling
o GTM initiatives
• On-going (weekly, monthly, quarterly) performance analysis
o Business insights & executive reporting
o Initiative tracking and working with business leaders on corrective action
plans
o Sales opportunity targeting & results
• Sales reporting & analytics
o Opportunity analysis
o RAD analysis
o Quota reporting
• Business interface to data sources
o Customer data portal (Services install base)
#### Position Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
• 7+ years of business planning and analytics
• Strong presentation skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies,
and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and
timeline
