Job Description

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Manager HCP Marketing - Rare Disease, are to: 

 

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of brand issues, priorities and competitive threats in order to clarify the key objectives and effectively design and implement programs;
  • Have a high degree of comfort for making decisions and working independently;
  • Have a high degree of interaction with other functional groups;
  • Measure the results of all activities relative to the group objectives;
  • Contribute to the development and execution of effective HCP marketing tactics and programs, as a member of the Cardiopulmonary marketing team;
  • Lead congress planning, execution and tracking;
  • Lead speaker program planning, execution and tracking;
  • Manage relationship with internal partners as it relates to data for the brand (external and internal);
  • Interface with applicable internal functions as it relates to brand activities and provide leadership/support on behalf of brand;
  • Collaborate on joint commercial strategies with Sales and take a leadership role with the Sales and Marketing Ambassador (SMA) program.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree with at least five years of experience in a healthcare field and at least one year in a marketing role, (M.B.A or advanced degree with at least three years of relevant experience will also be acceptable);
  • Strong experience in developing and implementing digital marketing programs;
  • Demonstrated ability to be a high-level contributor or leader of multiple projects, processes or functions;
  • Have a strong ability to converse with professionals about several disease states/product categories;
  • Have a demonstrated ability to present complex issues to higher level management and contribute to high level presentations and discussions;
  • Willingness to travel (20% to 25%) post pandemic;
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A combination of education and experience.
