Purpose of the Job:
To set up and implement marketing strategy to support Bekaert sustainable profitable growth in Rubber Reinforcement segment in North Asia
Your Role
  • Understand market and related industries for different products, foresee and prepare for essential market changes
    • The key drivers for market growth
    • The impact from macro economy and industry
    • The alerts and preparation for market changes
  • Understand customer value proposition, competition environment and thus better understand customer needs
    • Thorough analysis and highlights both local market and worldwide market
  • Understand competition environment, deepen Actionable Business Intelligence within RR’s Field of Play
    • KSF of competitors
    • Alert of competition movements
  • Segment products and define product positioning and sales strategy
    • Product segmentation
    • Value proposition for products in each segment
    • Product mix and pricing in different target customers
    • Market share per product
  • Coordinate and conduct short term and long term strategic planning
  • Enhance Bekaert market leader image by defined marketing/branding strategy. Set up networking with collaborators in industry to better understand market

Your Profile
  • Understand the process of customer driven insight generation and derived proposition building
  • Be familiar with defining Product Roadmaps
  • Be familiar with business innovation from point of view of business modeling and value chain mapping
  • Knowledgable on margin management from a product marketing point of view
  • Have insight into market mechanisms (customers, end-users, sub-contractors, competitors, etc….)
  • Good planning & project management skills
  • Open, professional communication & influencing skills,
  • Pragmatic and results-driven
  • Technology background, market interest and be passionate about products
  • Minimum 10 years of industrial marketing & sales experience in a management role
