YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Sr Manager Statistical Analysis, are to: 

• Serve a Team Leader;
• Develop and maintain TLF/ADS specifications;
• Lead, develop, and validate statistical programs for ADS and TLF and generate relevant documentation;
• Lead and perform statistical analysis activities for regulatory submissions and health authority question responses;
• Lead, and provide guidance to programmers and analysts;
• Provide expertise on the evaluation, improvement, and maintenance of functional processes/standards;
• Collaborate with Statisticians and Subject Matter Experts on the implementation of new statistical methodologies;
• Represent Bayer at external conferences;
• Participate in industry workshops and working groups.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field;
• At least five years of experience in statistical programming or statistics in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Oncology experience;
• In-depth knowledge of statistical methodology used to analyze clinical trial data (e.g., survival analyses);
• Have a thorough knowledge of Databases, CDISC standards and be well connected with the industry working groups;
• Excellent computer skills and statistical analysis knowledge (SAS, R and other similar software);
• Proven ability in project management of timelines, resources, and activities within a study and/or project;
• Demonstrated presentation and communication skills;
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
