Micron’s Taiwan sites include sales and technical support in Taipei along with state-of-the-art fabrication facilities in Taichung and Taoyuan that together comprise the company’s DRAM Center of Perfection. The Center’s goal is to achieve the most efficient and effective technology transfer and manufacturing ramp by combining front- and back-end manufacturing, product engineering and technology development roles.

Job Description

As a Probe Test Central Engineering - Sr Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the overall management of the Taiwan Central Engineering Test team. This includes several engineering disciplines: Test and BURN engineering, process and equipment engineering, product integration engineering, Post Electrical Engineering and package and materials engineering. You will establish and manage group vision and mission, insure strategic roadmap to accomplish groups responsibilities to meet corporate strategic objectives and manufacturing big rocks, establish and maintain performance indicators and targets to insure team meets operation expectations.

You will also be responsible for close engagement and partnership with Product Engineering teams to establish and communicate short term and long term plans for product deployment, close engagement and partnership with R&D to insure full support for products in development, close engagement with business partners to coordinate tester capability and test time reduction to insure that product quality and manufacturing efficiency are optimized. You will work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance (QA) and other manufacturing central team to design and develop equipment, define and establish processes, and design and perform experiments and share results. You will also provide direction internationally with the aim at reducing overall cost, improving yield, reliability and product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Direct the Team in Developing Test Plans for All Products for the Responsible Area
  • Lead and Direct the Team in Delivering the Highest Quality Product to Our Customers
  • Lead and Direct the Team in Implementing Solutions to Issues Related to Probe and Test Processes in a Timely Manner
  • Lead and Direct the Team in Driving Innovation to Meet Market Demand and Gain Competitive Advantage
  • Perform Budget Control and Cost Analysis
  • Utilize Performance Management to develop team members
  • Comply to EHSS (Environmental, Health, Safety, Security) standards

Requirements

  • Possesses a Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Possesses good analytical & problem solving skill
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to set direction, goals, and expectations to your direct reports and global teams with clear line of sight to Micron performance goals
  • Ability to ensure employees have and understand their performance plan goals and development plan goals
  • Drive to work with MFG leadership and other funcational areas to optimize performance
  • Experience in Management/Leadership
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and semiconductor device test methodology
  • Working knowledge of Semiconductor Test and support Equipment
