This position is to take the lead in new product development field in NPD. It requires wide range of detail oriented knowledge and skill. Should have ability to obtain support from all resources available in different Southco facilities to fulfill tasks.

Qualifications

? Engineer Certifiacte preferred.

? Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. Mechanical Automation is prefered.

? Good knowledge and practice of tooling/fixture, or mechanism design and developing.

? A good team player with good interpersonal skills. Good problem solving skills.

? Minimum 6 years’ working experience in new product development field. Experienced in PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, etc. Can coordinate manufacturing project to achieve the objectives.

? Solid working experience with mechanical automation and/or automated assembly line is prefered. Good Understanding of manufacturing process in Design for Assesmbly , Design for Manufacturing Concept etc.

? Good English skill in reading and writing, speaking skill preferred.Experience in leadning a small team of engineers

Responsibilities

? Coordinate and communicate with design centers as well as all related resources, following Pro-04 to develop new projects base on CPB 3

? Take ownership to assigned new projects, handle cost estimate, prototyping, IPN, initial production, business system setup, and process control documentation such as DFA, PFMEA ect under the schedule

? Provide related tech instruction to teammates as to new project development. Assist NPD manager to improve the team capability.

? Make sure the tooling, equipements, fixtures, BOM, WI, Flow chart etc are ready before release to mass production

? Train operators on the production processes of the new products and assure the quality and safety. .

? Any other reasonable duties required by supervision.
