Scope - Responsible for strategic and operational matters for a product line with revenues less

Accountabilities Report to Country Director of ELI cluster (Egypt, LEVANT, Sudan and Iran ) (line) and the MEA commercial director (dotted line)

Maximises the Business unit growth in Egypt.

Develops and executes Country plans of Bone, Nephrology, Rheumatology and Cardiovascular  franchises in line with business plans and brands strategy and in alignment with cross functional teams.

Lead sales managers, product managers to Delivers sales, market share, budget objectives and achieves performance metrics

Provides leadership at ELI leadership team and MEA level.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all strategic and operational matters relating to the Franchise in Egypt (marketing, sales, account management, legal, pricing and contracting)

Participates in the development of International strategies and tactics through input into the IBT; implements IBT strategies and key Branding directions locally.

Ensures optimal effectiveness of Field Selling team with support from SME Manager

Develops sales goals and budget with Country Director and executes the COP with his/ her BU

Partners with the Medical Leader in the development and execution of the Medical Affairs and promotional strategies.

Develops business cases to capitalize on growth opportunities outside of budgeted resources

Attracts, develops and retains talents, and ensures effective coaching and performance assessment

Provides leadership (as BU Head, ELI Management Committee member and, when applicable, IBT member)

Is personally involved in the management of key national accounts and relationship with key external stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

Higher academic education (University degree) or experience from similar positions

>7  years of experience in pharma industry

Preferred 2 to 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management

Preferred 2 to 3 years of experience in Marketing Management

Fluency in English, both oral and written communications is a must

Documented track record of success, incl. product launches

Computer skills (MS Office programs)

Preferred Management experience of a relevant-sized team
