The position is responsible for designs and executes innovative patient education solutions such as patient education program in order to address patient education barriers and achieve better patient outcome during long-term treatment.
The ( Sr.) Patient Education Manager will be in charge of:
1. SME of patient education at Amgen
-Define measurable KPI on patient program, monitor performance and budget, provide regular update on progress metrics.
-Define patient barrier, unmet needs and patient journey from patient perspective during his/her treatment on osteoporosis, dyslipidemia treatment and deliver tailor made material.
-Analyze and generate patient insights and provide routine report to relevant stakeholders.
-Ensure innovative patient education solutions is compliant to Amgen policies and governance procedures, manage relevant process and responsible for internal audit/review on the program.
2.Full responsibility of the management of patient education programs including:
-Manage program materials with accurate and unbiased information based on defined patient barriers and patient journey and updates at an active frequency and supervise suppliers on material development and updates.
-Managed agreements between Amgen and different types of external partnership e.g. academic groups, patient advocacy association. And ensure compliance with Amgen's relevant policies.
Ensure the agreements implemented consistent with the business needs and objectives, provide periodically oversight with external partnership ensure all Amgen’s requirements are met.
3.Closely communicate with cross-functions:
-Closely communicate with cross-functions incl. marketing, legal, Compliance, Corporate Affairs. etc., as the key point of content contact within Amgen any changes in program.
-Train for external partnership staff on Amgen requirement and measurable KPIs on program.
2. Required capabilities/experience:
-Bachelor’s degree and above; over 5-year experience in pharma industry with experience of project
-Learning agility and strong grit to proactively seek innovation solutions
-Good communication skills and collaboration between different functions
-Being able to manage across multiple workstreams and strong capability and intention to priorities
-Strong logic thinking and attention to details with ability to understand and operate within guidance and policies
3. Desired capabilities/experience:
-Experience management with external partnership e.g. patient advocacy association, academic group or other NGOs.
-Influence skills to drive changes within the organization
-Understanding and/or experience with China health insurance system and patient insights
