Sr. Manager, VA&P

Organizational:  Amgen’s global footprint continues to expand as part of its overall growth strategy.  This position is to lead both healthcare policy analysis/study and CHI projects in connection with NRDL negotiation in China.  This individual will be located in Beijing and report to the VA&P Director. 

Key Responsibilities:

Healthcare Policy

• Collaborate with VA&P Director to ensure the policy analysis & study strategies support the market access plans for Amgen’s products, and ensure the strategies are included in Access/Brand Plans. 
• Lead national healthcare (health, reimbursement, pricing, procurement, etc.) policy tracking, analysis to raise alert/opportunity for Amgen’s business in China
• Conduct national policy studies and support local policy analysis/study strategy development & implementation with national & cross-regional perspective.
• Promote study outcomes by meetings, publication and healthcare policy, reimbursement expert visits.

Commercial Health Insurance

• Explore and lead CHI projects with insurers to support NRDL listing with risk-sharing.
• Collaborate within VA&P and with cross-functional team in CHI project design, contact with NHSA and ensure local implementation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or above in healthcare related field, with 6 years of market access, policy analysis/study experience in pharmaceutical company, and familiar with recent CHI status and trend.
   

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:

• Bravery in exploring new field with uncertainty and various change
• Capability of leading complex policy study project, regarding both the topic and stakeholder collaboration
• Competence or familiarity with policy issues relating to HTA/reimbursement and Biosimilars

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Broad connection with policy and reimbursement experts
