Lenovo is looking for a talented Sr. Payroll Specialist to join our HR Operations team and provide day-to-day payroll support This person will have extensive payroll knowledge and experience in all areas of payroll. Job duties will include but not limited to: • Payroll auditing to ensure that all employees are paid correctly, and on time. •Complex Case resolution – responding to employee queries professionally and timely, consult on complex items that require extensive payroll knowledge such as taxation, year end reporting, wage adjustments, etc. * Working with other parts of the organization to correctly report executive pay and benefits • Prepare Off cycle payments as needed *Special assignments requiring payroll support, such as being responsible for all stock entries, etc. • Research questions from HRP/management • F1/J1 visa research and corrections needed • Assist Lenovo accounting team with research relating to payroll items • Accounting issue research and resolution About Lenovo: With 50,000+ employees and $43B in global sales in 160 countries, Lenovo is a global leader in innovative consumer, commercial and enterprise technologies. We view our differences as a source of strength in building a culture that helps us achieve our goals #### Position Requirements: \- Associates Degree in human resources, business or related functions. \- Minimum 5 years experience processing end to end payroll \- Extensive experience and understanding of payroll taxes -Proficiency with advanced Excel functions (v-look ups, pivot tables) Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have extensive payroll experience with at least 7 years end to end payroll processing experience. \- Workday Payroll Experience and ADP \- CPP Certification \- Flexibility and proper attitude as well as the ability to foster a positive, productive work environment \- Excellent customer service and time management skills and ability to work independently. \- Self-motivated to push objectives forward with high efficiency. \- A sense of urgency is vital in this role, as the turnaround time for our payroll teams is limited \-  Demonstration of effective verbal and written communication skills with the flexibility and ability to work with several areas and levels within the Company.
