JOB PURPOSES:

1. Focus on the plastic parts, include bobbin, header etc. Work in the power transformer, LAN transformer and other related fields.

2. To provide mechanical analysis on bobbin, header component design

3. To help identify new components/raw materials that significantly reduce cost and add to a product’s reliability and/or streamlines its manufacture.

4. To provide on-going support and expertise regarding existing components and materials, including acting as liaison between the Company and suppliers to have specifications reviewed and/or revised.

5. To provide technical support to the design, production and manufacturing engineering departments.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Leads to the research and development of specific components and materials and is involved in evaluating and creating specifications for them.

2. Works with Supply Chain to create and maintain the integrity of the Approved Supplier List and works with Quality Assurance personnel on first article inspections and the development of incoming inspection criteria.

3. Provides technical support for all departments in the factory when needed.

4. Works with suppliers for product improvement.

5. May perform special assignments dealing with cost justification, feasibility of special equipment or tooling, or other topics as they arise.

6. Periodically visits suppliers to learn more about advances, capabilities, and research regarding their products.

5. Provide expert advice and guidance to managers/peers/customers on specific and technical aspects of a product or concept under development.

6. Initiates and processes Component Engineering paperwork (NSRs, CCOs, etc.).

7. Helps determine project directions and provide expert advice on new and emerging technologies.

8. Keeps technically current by reading pertinent periodicals & literature, attending seminars, and publishing/presenting technical papers.

9. Provide technical contributions in the component/raw material area recognized by management to have significant impact on projects.

REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATIN, EXPEREINCE AND CORE COMPETENCE, ETC):

1. BS in Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 years working experience in mechanical (Plastic) field.

2. Candidate must have good communication skill in English.

3. Familiar with Office software and ERP system

1. Solidworks/ProE 3D software
