Job Description
This position is responsible for managing and communicating the overall budget and program spend for Risk and Compliance at BNY Mellon. This includes understanding the impact and benefit of all expenses, headcount planning, interaction with program spend, etc. The position is also responsible for providing comprehensive messaging on the benefits/business gaps as a result of spend and headcount, providing both routine and ad hoc reporting, as well as enhancing existing reporting metrics, KPIs, and dashboards. This includes not only reporting/forecasting actuals but more importantly being able to provide clear connections and metrics around actuals/forecast to help quantify benefits. This role also includes providing consulting support around transformational initiatives including gap analysis, zero-based budgeting, location strategy, etc. Strong Financial and Program Analysis background. Strong ability to craft the messaging required to communicate to senior stakeholders the value proposition around budget and project ask/delivery. Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to analyse and synthesizing financial and program/project data. Determines where measurement gaps exist and creates easy to use new metrics or reports to fill those gaps. Reviews operational data/metrics, analyses and synthesizes the data, then creates and compiles into dashboards, reports or presentations. Provides extensive expertise in defining and developing analytical approaches to complex issues. Works well in a matrixed environment leading, managing and executing special projects/initiatives that are of strategic importance. Can navigate the entire firm in order to effectively complete tasks and special projects. Provides consultative partnerships with internal teams and leaders to understand and meet their strategic objectives, key performance indicators and reporting requirements. Qualifications Bachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 12+ total work experience preferred.
