Acts as the primary resource for driving Lean continuous improvement activity within a Business Uni;

Creates and maintains Total Supply Chain Value Stream maps, and regularly interacts with Leadership and customer to focus resources on the parts of the Value Stream that offer the biggest opportunity for improvement (esp. the elimination of waste and lead-time reduction);

Works closely with the Continuous Improvement resources in the Plants and process engineering manager to assist and coordinate their Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma improvement efforts;

Acts as a change agent and subject matter expert within the BU to drive and support Lean continuous improvement efforts;

Manages the activity within the BU to drive from Current State to Future State in the relentless pursuit of eliminating waste from the Total Supply Chain;

Utilizes Six Sigma and Lean tools in completion of daily work;

Accountable for sustainable results;

Reports to the Division Engineering Manager or Director.

BS or MS Degree (technical and/or manufacturing) or 7-10+ manufacturing experience;

Thorough knowledge of Lean Principles (MDI, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.).;

Proficient in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies;

Thorough understanding of products, raw materials, suppliers, customers, and manufacturing processes used within PMG;

General knowledge of MRP, DSRP, and other planning and control related computer systems.
