Job Description
Role Summary: Areas that support the identification and development of the product offerings for the business.
Essential Responsibilities: - Ultimately accountable for successful development and commercialization in the targeted region

- Own external facing aspects of product (i.e. communications with market/customers, sales, regions, etc.)
- Provides technical expertise and coordinates development of technical and commercial solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) while interfacing with the commercial team, Product mgm. and engineering
- Close collaborate with the Haliade-X platform manager to lead through the toll-gate process and ensures each function meets the deliverables and requirements defined in the NPI process with report-outs to senior management on a regular basis.
- Interfaces with the global offshore team and acts as the voice of the region with respect of needs to successfully commercialize products in the region.
- Understand cost structure and ensure product costs actually reflect Bill of material and manufacturing costs, and drives to installed cost targets with GSCM and PMO
- Determine the continual product & services pivots through the lifecycle, and Make sure product compliance and certification requirements are met
- Identify new markets & define go to market strategy with differentiated solutions including business models for profitable growth, Processes a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value
- Balance tradeoffs between functions and regions when conflicts arise
- Minimum 15 years experience in the wind industry, with at least 10 years Engineering
- Minimum 2 years Product Management and/or commercial experience
- Experience in interacting with senior management levels and leading virtual teams in multiple time zones
- Ability to understand major Product management-associated functions (Sales/ComOps, Marketing & Strategy, GSCM & Engineering)
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams to achieve desired targets
- Proven analytical skill set & strategic mind-set, ability to quickly move from details to the holistic view and vice versa
- Strong, self-directed, collaborative team player with interpersonal, communication, & presentation skills (Proven inclusive leadership profile)
- Very strong communication / interpersonal skills, able to provide an environment of trust
- Ability to prioritize and set challenging but realistic time schedules
- Strong confidence with executive presentations; ability to communicate with colleagues & customers at all levels
- Fluent in English (written & oral)
- Knowledge about wind turbine physics, wind market dynamics & economics
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and 3D models
- Power Generation, renewable energy, and wind industry experience
- MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is essential, while knowledge of OneNote, Project/Primavera) are advantages
- Abroad experience min. 6 months
- Prior experience in supporting Sourcing Fulfilment, Global Supply Chain Management, Marketing & Strategy, Sales/ComOps
