Position Overview: The Product Validation Engineer will be a part of a team of Engineers and Technicians, responsible for the validation of innovative product and process solutions to solve customer pain points and market demands. In this role, you will setup and operate critical product validation processes to validate new product / process design specifications. In this function you will: You will be a part of a highly engaged and high performing product validation team aligned to achieve the following strategic initiatives: improved efficiency, equipment utilization, data acquisition, safety systems, and overall improved product capability. You will provide support to business partners in order to solve design, mechanical, electrical and other equipment or process related problems. You will participate in product design sessions with product engineering, promote collaborative environment with your team, peers, and manufacturing. You will interface with key stakeholders in program management and engineering to ensure the completion of your assigned tasks on time. You will proactively maintain a safe working environment, through diligence in accident prevention, equipment maintenance, and Zero Incident culture enforcement. You will create training documents for different testing processes seen in the lab. You will assist the lab manager in creating and standardizing a formal process for testing in the lab. You will receive regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to management. Continually assess the career goals and development plan management will create for you. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a technical based role Minimum of one (1) years’ experience setting up and operating product validation lab equipment Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, NVH, Electrical, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Physics from an accredited university More than three (3) years of experience testing parts to USCAR-2 specifications, with shaker table setup and operation as an emphasis Experience operating force testing equipment and general fixturing knowledge. Experience working in the automotive industry specific to product validation (USCAR-2) Experience working with CAD software to create testing fixtures for vibration testing Knowledge of labview, latter logic programming, Data Acquisition system setup and programming Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Fluent in Spanish We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
