Role Summary:
Responsible for testing a component, feature and or feature set. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. Contributes to quality engineering discussions. Owns medium sized quality engineering tasks; and delivers while mentoring and helping team members.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead system software/monitor FW automation test in machine monitoring & protection systems for BHGE MC BN business, which acquire displacement/velocity/acceleration/process variable etc.
• Teamwork with cross functional team in both domestic and international to understand CTQ, design requirements, and seek out the opportunity for improving productivity.
• Lead system development Verification & Validation test to meet or exceed design requirements
• Contributes to research, technology development and program execution to generate new and/or improved products.

• On time complete detailed test plan with creative implementation, which includes test tracebility matrix, system test case, interface definition, automation test coding, review,etc

• Deliver design documents with BN guideline and rules

• Verify design meet requirements, standards and compliance and deliver test report

• New technology research and apply to product development

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Demonstrated understanding and practical experience on industrial products and processes.
• At least 8 years of software & Firmware automation testing experience for vibration market or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years agile development experience
• Ability to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff
• Full system development life cycle hands-on experience: analysis, designing, coding, testing, performance tuning and documentation
• CET six level
• Expertise on C# programming languages
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, must be able to communicate effectively both in written and oral english in a global team.
• Self motivate and capable of working independently on extended assignments
• Always leads by example
• Resourceful and leverage global team’s skills and benefits

Desired Characteristics:

• GB preferred (GE employee only)
• Knowledge of monitoring & protection products
• Familiar with regular measurement instruments / device, such like: Oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supply, etc.
