Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensure product compliance with L’Oreal’s Standard Procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

2. Issue Nonconformance notices and follow up on Root Cause Analysis/Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

3. Work with subcontractors (CM) on status of Quality nonconformities, support investigations and problem solving. Assess risk which may impact product safety or compliance.

4. Ensure that CAPAs are initiated, assigned, thoroughly investigated, documented and effectively resolved when deficiencies are found during development, testing, manufacturing. Request waivers when necessary

5. Provide support to Quality Supervisor with quality agreement between L’Oreal and Contract Manufacturers (CM)

6. Provide support to Quality Supervisor in issuing/updating technical dossier (Blue Book- BB) for CM production – Collaboration with US team

7. Assist Quality Supervisor on new CM on-boarding process

8. Train/Coach/Assist current & new CMs to ensure understanding of quality requirements

9. Participate in CM’s certification program (test delegation, control and process validation)

10. Perform product inspection and manage the quality disposition process for FGs, PCs, bulk, WIPS in System

11. Perform the documentation review process to ensure compliance to established quality requirements

12. Manage reworks (at the DC or 3rd party) - rework instructions, Traceability list, re-control, release

13. Coordinate the samples for approval for R&I, Mktg, or other stakeholders as necessary

14. Train/assist new team members on test methods and procedures

15. Create and implement quality procedures

16. Support DGO/Internal audits

17. Support Audits CM
