Sales Operations Coordinator
The Sales Operations Coordinator will process orders, answer inquires from the divisional sales reps and managers, process complaint case and resolution, and liaison with other teams inside and outside the organization in order to best serve the commercial sales organization.
You will also maintain workflow instructions with current processes and must be able to communicate issues and opportunities at various levels within the organization. Responsible for working in multiple ERP systems. Candidates must have strong analytical, organizational, phone, computer, and verbal and written communication skills.
Must have experience working with multiple computer applications such as Siebel, Microsoft Office, E1 and SAP. Must understand inventory, shipping, consignment, and accounting terminology and application. Must have attention to detail and be able to work with more complex concepts to assist Sales in their day-to-day responsibility.
Must be able to work in multiple email boxes and keep information integrity for other users. Must have strong phone skills to address both Sales questions and Customer related questions regarding Orders and availability. The candidate should have experience working in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment and have demonstrated strong organizational and problem-solving skills. The candidate must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment where priorities and workload change; as well as the ability to work successfully in both a team setting as well as be a strong individual contributor.
Minimum Requirements/Preferred Qualifications:
• Must demonstrate judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external customers as well the ability to handle confidential and/or proprietary information.
• Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature, recurring and routine situations with occasional variations where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
• Ability to work independently since normal routine work will be assigned with minimal supervision with general instruction provided on new assignments.
• Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position.
• Initiative and organization skills are extremely valuable to ensure good customer service. Must possess self-motivation, enthusiasm, and positive attitude and perform as a team player.
• Must have a working knowledge of personal computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Must demonstrate the ability to identify and solve problems, and to multi-task under deadlines.
• Must be flexible with hours worked to support various department hours beyond typical business hours including mandatory OT at EOQ time periods.
• May serve in various teams according to business needs.
Education:
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Business Administration or a scientific discipline.
• 2 years of related customer service experience with order entry systems and processes experiences preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
