The mission of Intel's Security Tools team to support Intel’s developers in building secure products.

 

This is a hands-on technical role that involves a mixture of industry research, product evaluation, and partnering with others to land new software security tools used to improve the quality of Intel's products.

 

As a Sr. Security Software Architect, you will:

·Collaborate with internal groups to understand gaps on existing capabilities.

·Research and keep abreast of industry trends and developments around software product security validation.

·Work with vendors and internal teams to conduct product evaluations

·Become an expert in the use of product security tools.

·Help train internal teams on how best to leverage product security tools.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through your educational level research and/or relevant job/internship experiences.

Education Requirement:

·Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar, with 4+ years of relevant industry experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR PHD.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years' experience in product software development (any language)
• 2+ years' experience with Static Application Security Testing (e.g., SonarQube, Veracode, Klocwork, Parasoft, and Coverity)
• 1+ years' experience with Software Composition Analysis (e.g. Synopsys, Fossa, Snyk)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to form partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Diverse understanding of an array of platforms (client, server, mobile, and IoT) for architecture and security topics
• 1+ years' experience with fuzzing (DAST or other)
• 1+ years' experience with conducting vendor evaluations

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00
