Sr. Site Project Engineer – Henderson, NV 

The Sr. Site Project Engineer will be expected to lead the site’s capital management process.  The candidate should expect to deliver projects starting from project scope development, project business case write up, project execution, commissioning, startup and project closure.  The candidate will be expected to manage projects collaboratively with the site following all Mars project management requirements.  The individual can expect to manage capital budget in the range of $500k to $5M. 

What are we looking for?

• High School Diploma coupled with robust comparable technical experience 
  • Prefer to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering 
• Five (5)+ years of experience in a comparable technical position – food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or related industry preferred
• Basic understanding of engineering principles – knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Mechanical, and Construction
• Someone who is collaborate with others (vendors/contractors/mars associates)
• Strong planning and priority setting skills
• A drive for results
• Someone with strong functional/technical skills in project management
• Nice to have:
  • Construction management experience
  • PMP certification
  • Food manufacturing experience

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Capital budgeting 
• Site Project management – From initial design/concept phase through installation and commissioning
• Site asset health check management
• Accountability/ownership of your functional area of responsibility
