Job Description

 

  • Drive the implementation of the internal compliance audit program in all selected plants through training, development and capacity building.
  • Ensure compliance through regular inspections and reporting.
  • Review, analyze and report compliance discrepancies for all facilities.
  • Investigate problems, develop solutions and teach sites to develop sustainable corrective actions for compliance discrepancies.
  • Interface with EHS and HR teams at local, regional and global levels to ensure adequate staff training for audits and corrective action process is achieved.
  • Develop and implement tools and resources to sustain programs and initiatives.
  • Educates and trains suppliers and factory management on Ethical Standards and Sustainability programs.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand and integrate audit or investigation findings into supplier and factory development and remediation efforts.
  • Maintain and overall in charge of RBIS global supplier approval list.
  • Perform as the regional SC lead to work with global/regional/site team & stakeholders on in house facility and subcontractors' qualification process & SC audit CAP follow up based on AD compliance policy and RB compliance requirement.
  • Work with commercial team and brands' for SC requirement clarification & update and deploy to the global facilities.
  • Establish and maintain sustainable procedure to communicate the update with global sites.
  • SC metrics report & data analysis and send alert to key stakeholders periodically.
  • Conduct proper issue escalation and handle daily inquiry on supplier approval status.
  • Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in social compliance audits and excellent knowledge of China law / social audit requirements.
  • Experience in brands SC project management, supply chain, quality, environmental health, and safety or other SC related systems take an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience in garment or trims manufacturing field.
  • Excellent presentation skills & communication skills in both oral and written English
  • Strong team building and mentoring skills, good leadership (preferable).
  • Independent worker, strong problem-solving skills.
  • With a sense of urgency & able to prioritize and complete the assigned task on a tight schedule.
  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Google, Lotus Notes.
  • Willing to travel.
