Position Description: Lenovo is hiring a Sr. Software Architect that will have the following work attributions: • Designs the overall technical architecture of the product with the help of the team; • Responsible for the technical architect and design of the product; • Responsible for guide and support development team with code reviews; • Be hands-on and engage in coding to help the team to develop his solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand Identifies and removes technical impediments; • Work with Technical Leader to align the roadmap with strengths and opportunities. #### Position Requirements: • Knowledge of Java, Python, SQL, JS, Testing and Debugging, Git; • Experience with Managing technical priorities within the Backlog; • Experience with Continuous Integration (i.e., Jenkins, GitLab CI); • Experience with RESTful Services and APIs; • Experience with Relational databases; • Experience with design patterns; • Can make architecture decisions at a team and product level; • Be able to code and architect end-to-end solutions with multiple types or architecture; • Experience with Information Security, Hardware programming, IP Networking, Linux Administrator; • Seen as an expert within the technical components of Cloud and Web Applications; • Experience in Agile Development, with specific Solution Architect (or similar); • Experience and ability to drive software engineering lifecycle best practices; • Problem Solving Skills; • Proven track record of strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams across the world in English; • Strong communication skills with the ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions; • Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize the team’s potential. Good to know: • C, C#, Ruby, React, .Net; • Experience with Static Analyzes tool (i.e., SonarQube, Coverity or Parasoft or Checkmark); • Experience with Frontend development; • Experience with CSS Preprocessors; • Familiar with production Cloud / DevOps environments; • Understand relationship with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Design Lead and rest of technical team.
