This exciting role offers opportunity to:

• This position is responsible for supplier base optimization and material cost reduction & brand labelling. It includes purchasing cost control and YOY material price reduction via localization, dual source development, VAVE and hard negotiation etc. Coordinate between Eaton internal cross function teams to enhance the capability of supplier quality, delivery and cost. Communicate with marketing for finish product requirement, conduct right supplier development.
• Work with Marketing & RD/SQE to complete supplier selection and assessment, commercial term negotiation and new parts release process for NPD projects
• Drive YOY material price reduction via localization, dual source development, VAVE and hard negotiation etc.
• Review supplier performance monthly and takes action to improve performance continually, and supports SQE to conduct annual audit for key suppliers. Optimizes supplier base to enhance the capability of supplier quality, delivery and cost
• Work with cross function team to realize localization projects on schedule. Sample and trial run process follow up for assigned project.
• Support SCM to improve delivery reliability and shorten delivery cycle time to enhance OTD and reduce DOH.
• Perform supplier contract term negotiation include MPA/NDA/OSP etc.
• Support management team to report spend, cost reduction, main product BOM cost analysis
• G. Technical drawing and requirement of Procurement materials’ distribution and management toward supplier.
• Motivate more cost improvement opportunity and realizes it
• The others not mentioned above assigned by management teams

Qualifications

Requirement:

• Bachelor degree with major in science and engineering
• 8+ years working experience in Sourcing function, prefer to Low voltage Electrical company related
• Prefer low voltage electrical products knowledge, process & material technology background
• Skilled in Office software, ERP;
• Fluent English in written and oral;
• Strong teamwork spirit;
• Result oriented;
