GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION

Reporting to the Assc Director, Marketing & Business Development APAC, the Sr. Specialist, Marcom assists the China marketing team responsible for activating GBU driven Marketing initiatives, campaign and (trade) marketing collateral assets development including translations, lead generation and marketing qualification, coordination of copywriting, Social Media and PR activities, maintenance of sampling campaign activities with Inside Sales and several online assets and processes as well as evaluation of data and campaign results.
The role also supports trade marketing and sales enablement, which is defined as generating and managing quality, revenue-generating leads which can be fed into the sales pipeline.

Geographically, the position is responsible for all Marcom activities in China.
This position is based in the Shanghai, China

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Supports new product launch communication material development and distribution including, press releases, images, product pages, distributor letters, etc
  • Ensures successful and on time activation of vertical business development initiatives developed by the GBUs and provides guidance to the development of these initiatives on behalf of the region and for localizing materials to meet regional needs.
  • Manages outside agencies, companies and budgets. This person is the main point of contact, responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with approved Ansell agencies. Coordinates inquiries, requests, creative direction, quotes and agency reviews. Audits the agencies as needed.
  • Drives trade show and event coordination including advertising, brand guidelines, exposure before and during the show, installation, and overall operation of Ansell’s exhibit properties.

  • Manages the translation of marketing materials into required languages.

  • Directs and manages updates and reprints of all print materials including price lists, technical information guides, promotional materials, catalogue production, brochures, product pages, etc.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of digital projects; E-commerce, Marketing automation and website Implements and maintains corporate and product brand guidelines.

  • Tracks and reports on all Marketing and Marcom Initiatives. Measures campaign effectiveness and ROI.

  • Works with Sales on Distributor Activation. Responsible for distributor participation in campaigns and other marketing initiatives as well as distributor creative services and image support. Works with Sales on all partner distributor projects requiring marketing communications (catalog reprints, online updates, etc.) as needed.
  • Supervises the processing of marketing-related purchase orders, invoices and content approvals with Ansell’s appropriate legal, compliance and regulatory executives.
  • Supports the development of our lead generation program.
  • Communicates effectively with regional and global stakeholders on marketing activities, ensuring efficient execution of marketing programs and projects.


KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or related field.

Languages
  • Fluent in English and additional language in Asia is an advantage
Job Experience

  • Five minimum years’ experience in the development and management of marketing projects, events, and corporate communications and PR initiatives.


A sound knowledge of marketing and brand management


  • Skills in and Digital Marketing an advantage.
