The role forms part of the Global Privacy Office, led by the Bank of New York Mellon’s Chief Privacy Officer, which is positioned within Legal. The Global Privacy Office is a first line of defense function that develops and maintains the enterprise privacy strategy, framework, policies and procedures, and supports the business in understanding and managing the privacy risks inherent in their business. Purpose: Support the Global Privacy Office and all lines of business/corporate functions to respond effectively to ongoing data privacy regulatory changes impacting the Bank. Participate in or lead a wide array of activities associated with data privacy change programs, including data gathering and analysis, stakeholder communication and coordination, tracking and reporting. Ensure that program deliverables are completed to a high standard, on time, within budget and in line with regulatory requirements. Report and escalate progress/issues to management, as needed. Work with all required functions and groups to effectively plan, execute and document program activities.
