How will you make an impact?
By leading a cross-business unit team to collaboratively define and deliver a division wide software strategy and portfolio built from market trends, user needs, technology assets and innovation opportunities. You’ll make a critical contribution in delivering the right software to drive customer satisfaction and allegiance, revenue growth, and consumables attachment across the qPCR, CE, and Microarray platforms together with the associated Animal Health, Agrigenomics, Human Identification, Reproductive Health, and Clinical verticals.
What will you do?

You’ll drive an initial and ongoing assessment of all current software product offerings and product development projects, providing specific portfolio recommendations and assisting the business units with software lifecycle management.
You’ll lead a cross-BU team through a state-of-the-art road mapping process and will provide a regular cadence of roadmap updates as the product development situation and competitive landscape evolve.
You’ll optimize resource utilization across the portfolio of active software technology incubations, new product introductions, and sustaining engineering projects; ensuring that the right projects are executed effectively.

How will you get here?
Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or Life Science required; SCRUM certification, PMP certification, advanced leadership training, MS, MBA or Ph.D. preferred.
10+ years of experience across two or more of the following: life science or medical device software product development in Program Management, Product Management or R&D roles; experience with genetic analysis technologies and in-vitro diagnostics preferred.
Fluent in English.
