Our West Chester Supply Site is a very dynamic and growing manufacturing site within the AstraZeneca Global Operations network and is located just north of Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to serving as the global COVID vaccine production site for AstraZeneca, the West Chester site encompasses Bulk API Microsphere manufacturing, Aseptic Pharmaceutical Formulation, multi-line Isolator/Barrier Vial and Syringe Filling, and specialty Packaging Operations for Vials and Auto-Injectors that supports growing franchises in Diabetes, Respiratory, and Vaccines. Our site is one of 30 production facilities in 18 countries with over 700 people collaborating to connect powerful medications to patients in more than 60 countries around the world. The Supply Chain Analyst (SCA) will support all elements of the planning process and the Global planning processes. The SCA will attain and maintain compliance with all system access required (SAP, IDM, OCM, and so on). The SCA is an active member of the WCH Supply process, with daily interactions with internal customers (PETs, BETs), external customers (Global Supply Chain), and vendors. The SCA acts as a key contact for day-to-day activities in support of the supply planning process.

What you will do:

  • Lead cross-functionally to model complex supply chain processes that help in solving problems

  • Develop tools that will assist the Supply Chain team in Planning and Scheduling

  • Provide support for the evaluation of safety stock levels, minimum order quantities, and lead times that results in identifying continuous improvement opportunities

  • Enable ways to measure performance for Supply Chain

  • Simplify Ways of Working through data visualization

Education:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Administration, or Statistics

Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas- Packaging operations, Production Planning, Quality Assurance, Packaging Technical Services, or MRP and Advanced Planning Systems

  • SAP Savvy and proficient Power BI

  • MRP and Planning related to pharmaceutical production processes

  • Aptitude in data-driven problem solving

  • Able to clearly communicate and present to senior leaders

  • Shown ability to work independently and professionally in a cGMP regulated environment
