Be part of the SoC Platform Validation team within Data Platforms Group, we are looking for a Senior Validation Engineer.

In this position, you will be working as a member of the DPEA Platform Integration and Validation Team responsible for ensuring the datacenter platforms meet our Telecommunications customers quality expectations., also you will make recommendations to the business on release readiness.

The role requires broad understanding of communications and network with focus on base transceiver station segment. The job will demand interaction with Architecture, Design, and Silicon Validation teams to analyze requirements and improve product test content.

• Validation pathfinding activities.
• Drive requirements to test case mappings.
• Capacity to produce domain interoperability and customer value add type of test cases.
• Be a voice and enforcer of the health and quality of the products.
• Drive key defects resolution, leading corresponding taskforces.
• Constantly improve testing coverage based on success criteria metrics and status.
• Planning, developing and executing Systems Engineering Best Practices.
• Participating in Product planning and release meetings providing input and decisions.
• Engaging with architecture and various cross-team validation organizations to define test plans.
• Be a role model for the organization and help develop technically junior engineers.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
 

Minimum qualifications:

• Candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related (Documentation related to bachelor’s degree completion will be required).
• Key attribute is deep knowledge in comms and network with expertise in Base Transceiver Station business, customers, architecture and usage models.
• 3+ years of experience on PC architecture and system level validation.
• 2+ years of proven experience with Linux operating systems.
• 2+ years of proven debug capabilities of multiple technical domains.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams is required.
• Solid FW understanding.
• Advanced English level.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with Edge computing in telecom workloads and use cases.
