The Global Selling team in China, Korea, and South-East Asia is responsible for recruiting local/regional businesses to sell on Amazon’s global marketplaces, and supporting local Selling Partners’ success and growth on Amazon.
Seller Education is one of the strategic initiatives and a part of Amazon Global Selling Service+ department which targets to provide high quality services for Selling Partners’ Ecommerce business. Trainers, as a key role, are responsible for facilitating Selling Partner’s growth and success at Amazon platform by developing and delivering quality education course with accurate Amazon culture and philosophy. With high visibility and significant customer impact, the candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communications skills, extensive experience in presentation and training, and passion about teaching, ideally with hands-on experience in Amazon Global Selling account operations and/or in-depth knowledge of cross-border e-commerce.
The candidate need to be extremely customer obsessed to address Selling Partner’s training demands according to their pain points, and have capability to fast learn industry knowledge, Amazon internal product or system, etc. The candidate should be able to work in a cross functional fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities (include but not limited)
- Study Customer’s business pain point and education demands.
- Design, develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality and relevant training content and supporting collateral to meet the needs of audiences, customers, partners, and employees.
- Learn new concepts, courses, and products, as required.
- Support updates, revisions and improvements of existing courses & materials following required SOP. Play a strategic role in integrating new product releases, concepts, and instructor/customer feedback into existing courseware.
- Work directly or indirectly with customers or partners to develop detailed training plans for staff and may act as long-term liaison to customers/partners with regard to training and certification programs.
- Developing effective “train the trainer” programs and ensure that these facilitators’ knowledge is kept up to date.
- Remain customer obsessed, and provide the best possible training experience.
- Help shape the ongoing strategy and mission for training program; expand training program domestically and globally.
Basic Qualifications
- 5-8 years’ experience as Trainers/Program Manager/Ecommerce AM or related role.
- Excellent oral presentation skills, interpersonal communication, and writing skills.
- Proven ability to learn new knowledge fast and develop the instructional course.
- Ability to multi-task, execute methodically with high attention to detail, and drive operational excellence.
- Ability to be subject matter experts for the broader training team with regard to topics or content.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment, and earn trust at all levels.
- History of teamwork, willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done, and customer oriented.
- Enthusiastic about training and fun to work with!
- Domestic travel is needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent abilities in both oral and writing English;
- Cross border Ecommerce platform experience;
- MBA will be plus;
