We are looking for a talented development-focused engineer who has excellent low-level embedded skills. An engineer who would easily cooperate with colleagues, and would support customers and partners to succeed with IoT.

We are Huachip holding with third main sales group. One is IC distributoion and the second is home application converter solution provider, the main customers are Haier,Hisence,Midea etc. the third is ARM China 's added value service solution provider and are a fast-growing business unit ARM's service partner supplier, developing the next generation of an IoT device to cloud infrastructure.

The third group -ARM's service solution providing team's mission is to help our customers and partners design and build full end-to-end solutions of their targeted IoT devices with their targeted cloud services. You will join a professional engineering team who all share a vision and passion for building a foundation for this emerging industry that will change the way connected devices are developed.

Duties

? Work with key customers and ARM to help design, build, and support integrations between their IoT devices and the ARM mbed OS.

? Support device-oriented developers

? Identify and fix bugs

? Proactively engage with the other members of the (International) engineering team and sales team, to resolve issues and ensure information and knowledge is shared

? Take part in demo development, custom projects, POCs and simulations for IoT use cases

? Provide telephone call or on-site consulting and training when necessary, may get involved in creating and delivering presentations about new technologies, techniques and tools.

? This position includes travel to support events, demos, Partner workshops, conferences and seminars up to 10%~20% of time.

Job Requirements

Experience and Skills

You should have in-depth experience working with hardware and software for microcontrollers, and must excel in helping others to be productive and successful in their work.

You will need to be proficient in many of the following areas:

• 3+ years of embedded development experience
• Excellent English and Chinese language skills – ability to easily converse at a deep technical level, as well as excellent reading and writing skills in both languages
• Excellent in-depth knowledge of writing embedded C and C++ code for modern microcontrollers
• Read schematics and debug at a PCB level using typical laboratory equipment if needed
• Desirable plus: multi-platform development - Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, etc…
• A BS or greater degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or alternatively in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering with relevant software engineering experience is required.
• Writing technical content, documentation and getting started guides
• Multitasking professional capabilities
• Enjoy implementing and supporting designs as part of a team
• Preference for strong proven customer orientation and interaction
• Willingness and the ability to travel multiple times a year

It’s desirable to have a good understanding on the following areas:

• Previous experience at using ARM Mbed OS, Mbed Cloud and general understanding of the mbed Ecosystem
• Understanding Radio technologies used in IoT Applications (BLE, Wi-Fi, 6LoWPAN, Thread, LoRA and IPv6)
• Develop, test and release workflows for high-volume OEM products
• Writing easy-to-use and maintain software, with well-partitioned architecture and clean APIs, that can be understood, reused and relied upon by 100,000s of developers
• Cortex-M microcontrollers and peripherals and their development environments
