Primary Responsibilities:
- Translate, review, edit, format, and publish different types of documentation for different products

Translate key internal communications messages working with the communications specialist
- Manage translation vendors to meet translation quality standards and deadlines
- Manage terminology, style guide, and translation processes for Simplified Chinese

Frequent communication with stakeholders (in both Simplified Chinese and English)
Required Skills/Experience:
-
Master's degree in Translation or Linguistics in China or Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Translation, or Linguistics in USA
- Fluently speak, read and write English and Simplified Chinese. Traditional Chinese is plus.

Strong communication skills (both languages)
- Strong translation skills
- 5+ years with tech industry content translation (hardware, software)

Translate, proofread, edit 2000+ words/ day (Typing speed 50 WPM minimum (both English + Chinese)
- Experienced with CAT or TMS tools with solid understanding for termbase and TM
- Experienced with DITA XML translation
- Strong project management skills
- Multi-tasker to drive all projects to be delivered on time

5+ years of translation vendor management
- Able to work independently, with flexible hours to work with the US team
- Tool-savvy

Proactive, self-learning, problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experienced with SDL Trados/WorldServer

Experienced with term and Style Guide management
- Interpretation experience
- Experience with Adobe FM Maker translation and formatting
- PowerPoint Editing
