Staff Field Applications Engineer

Location：Shanghai, China

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical solutions & support for wireless power and mobile sensor (BIO and optical) if applicable, through close collaboration with key customer in east China

• Report to mobile sales manager and work closely with the product line and internal Sales/FAEs/AEs to develop business opportunities in east China

• Provide technical support and training to IDT distribution partners through joint customer activity and regular off-site training seminars.

• Establish professional relationships with key designers/architects and decision makers in assigned customer base.

• Drive design opportunities to closure in accordance with design in/win targets.

• Maintain understanding of industry trends and standards.

• Work closely with R&D group & feedback market trends and customer requirements. Cooperate with R&D to define new product concepts and solutions.

Requirements:

• Years of experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience on hardware or software and android/Linux driver experience.

• Knowledge in basic power theory, PMIC, DC/DC buck design background preferred

• Smart phone/handset/ARM experience, wireless power or related FAE experience preferred.

• Onsite support capability – using basic tool like scope for troubleshoot.

• Degree qualified in relevant discipline

• Fluent Speaking/Listening English skill, and good read/write in English

• Excellent presentation and communication (verbal & written) skills

• Good organizational capabilities

• Self-motivated & capable of working independently or within small dynamic team
