The Opportunity

Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of firmware engineers to delivers complete SSD firmware solutions for next generation SSD products and carryout latest NAND technology.
• Oversee all phases of the firmware life cycle towards our next generation of SSD products, including design, development, qualification and support.
• Investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative SSD solutions.
• Continuously to mentor firmware engineers team to deliver best design, develop and verification of embedded SSD firmware.
• Provide design reviews, API development, and documentation.

• Deliver architectural documents, design specs, firmware source code, build scripts, including performing tasks including debug, bring-up, beta and production firmware development

Qualifications :

• Bachelor in Electronics or Computer Systems Engineering, Master and above preferred.
• 10+ years' experience in embedded firmware development, digital design, control systems
• 5+ years' management experience in MNC with a daily interaction with stakeholders from different culture
• Strong leadership, project, communication and time management skills.
• Solid experience with Embedded MCU Development Environments
• Strong hands on embedded software design and delivery product with high modularity, reusability and testability
• Preferably with extensive knowledge of hardware/software interface, industry standard specifications, computer
• Strong background in Agile methodology & practices and testing methodologies.
• Demonstrate the ability and leadership to determine, set and maintain priorities of work.
• Strong people management and development skills

Desired Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Git, Gerrit, JIRA and wiki
• Familiarity with SSD, NAND industry is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where iterative changes may need to go out in rapid succession.
