Job Purpose:
Responsible for defining and implementing innovative and cost effective mechanical structural strategies to ensure products will pass appropriate product specifications/requirements.

Job Responsibility:
1. Perform structural analysis of designs and perform evaluation as required to verify the physical parts over prototypes and hard tooling parts.
2. Work within the design team to get resolution/path forward when appropriate trade-offs required within the Audio product system architecture design.
3. Support customer base with design improvements that enhance product reliability and assembly of structural elements while minimizing costs.
4. 3D CAD modeling and 2D engineering drawing drafting.
5. Proto-type, evaluation, debug and documentation.
6. Perform Tolerance analysis.
7. Participate tooling mold trial during development stages.
8. Support for debug during NPI covering from proto-type, EVT, DVT validation failure analysis and Sustaining where appropriate.

Job Qualification:
1. Above 8 years Audio product design experiences (Speaker, Sound Bar, Sub-Woofer).
2. Familiar with acoustic mechanical structure design.
3. Familiar with diversity resin, fabric and mesh material selections and applications.
4. Familiar with failure analysis of acoustic issues debugging during product development stages.
5. Proficient in the use of solid modeling Mechanical CAD system is mandatory, preferably Siemens NX.
6. The ability to construct or modify hardware parts or models using simple hand tools proficiently.
7. Fluent in English (written and verbal) and an effective presenter.
8. High level of initiative and energy and to work independently.

Preferred Experiences:
1. Conversant with Acoustic analyze with simulation tool is a plus.
2. With wooden speaker box design experience is a plus.
