Job Description

Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Staff Relations Unit in organizing initiatives/events relating to staff relations and ad hoc projects;
  • develop creative marketing strategies and apply various software to design/edit graphics/videos/audio files for promotional means on social media platforms to foster internal values and corporate identity;
  • follow through the process of participating award schemes in the market by communicating with scheme organizer for enrolment, selection criteria and award ceremony;
  • compile and edit work for staff e-Newsletter by preparing artwork, designing layout, typesetting and proofreading;
  • provide administrative support in coordinating Staff Committee meetings relating to staff relations and welfare aspect; and
  • perform document management duties such as schedules, reports and relevant analyses, and handle telephone enquiries from internal and external parties.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • a recognized Higher Diploma/Associate Degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing/Design or related discipline;
  • preferably with experiences in event management;
  • good computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator;
  • proficient in English, Chinese, and preferably Putonghua;
  • good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • able to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines; and
  • able to work independently with initiative and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 2-year contract with a remuneration package which will commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
