Description:

• Collaborate with other scientists to strategize and assist companies in the sector of food, drugs and cosmetics, to clear various types of food additives, food packaging, health products, GMO and novel foods, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides with the Chinese authorities.
  

• Work closely with other lawyers and scientists in reviewing test data, protocols, and consultation with various Chinese authorities, including National Health Commission (NHC), State Administration of Market Regulation (SAMR), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MOA), and Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE).

• Draft test protocols and coordinate with local laboratories regarding product testing. Research Chinese regulatory requirements and enforcement procedures.
  

Requirements:

Scientific background, Chemistry or biology is preferred.

Work experience in a related field, preferably doing scientific regulatory work in China. Experience working with NHC, SMRA, MOA, or MEE is a plus.

Excellent written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of other Asian languages or regulatory systems is a plus.
