• Staff or Principal FAE (Timing)

Location: Shenzhen, China

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical solutions & support for RF, Timing and Optical such as TIA, Laser driver and CDR and other products if applicable, through close collaboration with key designers/architects at strategic customers in south China.

• Work closely with the product line and internal Sales/FAEs/AEs to develop business opportunities at major OEM & key distribution customers.

• Provide technical support and training to IDT distribution partners through joint customer activity and regular off-site training seminars.

• Establish professional relationships with key designers/architects and decision makers in assigned customer base.

• Drive design opportunities to closure in accordance with design in/win targets.

• Maintain understanding of industry trends and standards.

• Work closely with R&D group & feedback market trends and customer requirements. Cooperate with R&D to define new product concepts and solutions.

• Report to FAE Director and work closely with Local Sale to document, manage and track design opportunities.

Requirements:

• Years of experience: Minimum of 7 years hardware/system design experience for communication related applications; Strong design/application experience in the wireless base station, RF signal design.

• 6 Year+ experience in RF, Timing and Optical circuit and system design.

• Deep understanding of wireless communication system and related technology, i.e. wireless infrastructure, Base Station, 4G/5G, High Density MIMO, RRU, ;and understanding of wireless communication system and data center related technology, which includes Switching, router, optical transmission, server/storage…etc.

• Degree qualified in relevant discipline.

• Additional experience on digital ASSP products (i.e. ETH, PCIe, sRIO, CPRI, Infiniband, Fiber Channel,) will be preferred.

• Fluent Speaking/Listening English skill, and good read/write in English

• Excellent presentation and communication (verbal & written) skills
