Role Title: TAG Head/Staffing Head – TCS China Responsibility (TAG):

  • Devise recruitment strategy, formulate plan to meet Annual Recruitment Target for TCS China
  • Owns recruitment vendor management and recruitment initiatives such as Buddy Program, ACE Program, AIP Program, Employer Branding and other recruitment supporting initiatives.
  • Adoption of best practices in recruitment.
  • Build & influence the brand building initiatives among the local candidates in the region.
  • Forecasting the resource requirement and creating a sourcing pool
  • Participates in candidate search, pre-screening and screening activities when required.
  • Continuously monitors and improves candidate satisfaction.
  • Ensure the recruitment team is motivated and perform at a high level
  • Ensure all the TAG score card parameters are focused, tracked and improved
  • Design workshops for interview panelists to develop interviewing skills and process training.
  • Play an active role in Social Media to influence and attract the right Talents for TCS
  • Owns salary chart preparation and adherence
  • Manage digitization of recruitment function, BGC and personal File compliance
  • Monitoring the quality of the process implementation.
  • Monitor recruitment trends and share learning with relevant stakeholders.


If Staffing Head – the following responsibilities Responsibility (RMG):

  • Meet staffing requirements of all projects through effective mobilization of resources within defined deadlines.
  • Plan, implement, monitor and drive launch of RMG applications.
  • Monitor and manage transfers and deputations ensuring legal requirements and internal process requirement are met.
  • Work with the delivery team to ensure pipeline candidates are identified based on projected demand
  • Monitor visa application process and ensure 100% compliance to process through periodic audits
  • Periodic meetings with the immigration personal to review internal processes and improve based on regulation changes


Essential skills, qualification and experience:

o Minimum Bachelor and preferably with management or HR related qualification

o Minimum Total experience of 12+ years with at least 50% managing the recruitment function in an IT organization.

o Should have a managed the talent acquisition function and team of 6+ members in an organization

o Experience in resource management is an added advantage and is required for staffing head role

o Good English and Mandarin spoken and written skills

o Self-motivated team player, ability to engage and manage experienced recruiters

o Ability to drive change and developmental initiatives in staffing function
