Job Discription:

Build and develop our internal knowledge of any issue relating to safety:

• Maintain contacts with local labs and give full support on approvals for product development team

• Align interpretation of safety regulation in case of inconsistencies among outside labs

• Define internal processes regarding safety and EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) approval such as GS mark

Circulate this knowledge among interested parties：

• Consolidate the knowledge for purchasing and product development team so that they can work with suppliers.

• Support development, purchasing, marketing and quality teams on topics relating to safety

• Help organise training sessions delivered by external thrid parties or internal experts on topics relating to safety, EMC, EMQS tests and technologies used in SDA (electricity, electronics, metal and plastic transformation)

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Mechanical / Electrical / Process Engineering
• With at least 5 years of experience in safety standards
• 5 years experience in relation with Chinese suppliers required
• Fluent in English (read/write)– Chinese (Mandarin is a must & Cantonese is optional)
