Program Highlights

Main Responsibilities

• Maximum teaching hours of 14 hours per week
• Monday to Friday classes (8am – 12pm & 2pm – 5pm) with evenings and weekends off
• Deliver learner centered, engaging lessons to students
• Ensure equal participation of all students
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner
• Actively participate in professional development workshops and activities
• Attend school activities, parties and other events

Compensation

• Excellent salary: 1,400 – 18,000 RMB (2,000 – 2,600 USD) per month (depending on qualifications and experience)
• Free accommodation provided by the school shared with another teacher OR housing allowance of 3,000 RMB per month
• Flight allowance of 5,000 RMB (2,500 RMB provided after first week and 2,500 RMB provided after first semester)
• Over 3 months of holidays including all national holidays and 2 months during summer (paid at 50% with no housing allowance)
• Legal Z work visa provided and assistance with all the visa paperwork
• Social and business insurance provided
• 2 free meals per day provided on the school campus
• Dedicated office staff to facilitate life in China and communication with school
• Airport pickup and work and life orientation on arrival
• Teacher training and professional development provided
• 120 hour TEFL course provided and paid for if needed (cost reimbursed within first week of work – receipt needed)
• 5 nights hotel provided on arrival before permanent accommodation arranged
• Chinese lessons provided

• Opportunities for extra part time work if required

Requirements

• Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland
• Bachelor’s degree
• TEFL certificate
• Teaching experience preferred but not required as we provide full training
• Professional, enthusiastic, culturally aware
