Stewarding Supervisor

Responsible for supervising the stewarding operation during shift and for cleaning and maintaining food and beverage premises to high hygienic standards

What you will be doing:

As a Stewarding Supervsior, you are responsible for supervising the Kitchen Stewards and supporting the Back of House team to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Stewarding Shift Leader will also be required to coordinate other kitchen responsibilities, make certain Back of House areas are maintained, and ensure that health and safety are top priorities.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervise the Kitchen Stewards ensuring high standards
• To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badges at all times
• In absence of Manager conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
• During the shift, oversees the preparation of kitchen equipment for use
• Supervises the receivable and storage of kitchen goods
• Supervises the cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment
• Supervises the cleaning of the premises

Your experience and skills include:

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work on their own or in teams
• Flexibility to respond to a range of various work situations

• It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Previous experience of supervisory role
